It was early July of 2008 and my family knew that "Altona Day" was coming up. Locals come to watch the parade and buy and sell things in the town park. I wanted to set up a stand selling my bandanas, but then I remembered what I have always wanted to do........make homemade dog treats! This idea came to me when I started my bandanas, but I never got around to making them. So now, here I am making and marketing my homemade, gourmet, dog biscuits. They are very time consuming to make, and somewhat expensive. I spend around 2 1/2 - 3 hours to make one batch, which makes 4 to 7 bags. Mr. Beaux got to try one as soon as I got some done. He loved it. These biscuits are great for training your dog, praising them, or just letting them have a tasty treat! Your dog will be barkin' for more after trying these!
